Vision
To see people from all nations in the DMV area worship God freely, grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, and actively serve in His Kingdom without linguistic barriers, raising up the next generation of Christ-centered leaders.

Mission
Mount of Glory Afaan Oromo Church exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and make disciples by ministering to the spiritual and practical needs of people.

What We Believe
Statement of Faith

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return to judge the living and the dead.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but granted by God’s mercy to all who repent and believe.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, guides, and sanctifies believers.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ devoted to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism.
Baptism & the Lord’s Supper
Baptism and Communion are ordinances instituted by Christ.
Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection, eternal life, and eternal separation from God for the lost.
Christian Living
Believers are called to holy living, service, and sharing the Gospel.
